Barron Thrasher Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Barron Thrasher of Steele, Alabama, who passed away on November 6, 2020 at the age of 76. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Barron Thrasher to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Nolan Cecil Thrasher and Etta Cordelia "Pankey" Thrasher; and his brother Larry James Thrasher. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn "Wood" Thrasher; his children, Terry Thrasher, DeAnna Hutchins (David) and Staci Hanks (Brandon); his grandchildren, Jaden Green, Elyse Haga (Derrick), Lily Hanks and Presley Hanks; his granddaughter-in-law Kadence Hutchins; and his pet Pepper.

Due to Covid-19, a private memorial will be held at Morgan Funeral Chapel in Attalla, Alabama on Wednesday, November 11, 2020 at 2:00 p. m.

The family asks that, in lieu of sending flowers, donations be made to St. Jude or American Cancer Society to help those still fighting.
