He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse Lee and Mary Elizabeth Stewart Quinley; his son Leon Quinley, Jr.; and his brothers, Buford Quinley and Glen Shaffer.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Ann Quinley (Emmons) of Stapleton, AL; his children, Mary Elizabeth "Beth", Shelia Marie Williams (Samuel) of Stapleton, AL, David Mark Quinley (Terrika) of Foley, AL, Allen Dewayne Quinley (Tammy) of Bay Minette, AL and Patricia Lynn Quinley of Rabun; his grandchildren, Marc, Matthew, Cody, Molly, Nikki, Dylan, Heather, Austin, Jessie, Annie, Kaylee, Marshall, Lyndsey and Stormi; and his great grandchildren, Callie, Harlee, Kylen, Kota, Peyton, Stash, Aspyn, Brailyn, Calvin and Thomas Jukie.
