He was predeceased by: his parents, John Henry and Mary Evelyn Smith Biggs; and his brother John Leon Biggs. He is survived by: his wife Elsie Odenia Byrd Biggs of Stapleton, AL; his children, Megan Odenia Mathews (Craig) of Stapleton, AL and Wesley Derwood Biggs (Tammy) of Mobile, AL; his siblings, Charles Biggs of Pensacola, FL, Benny Biggs of Lottie, AL and Evelyn Ann Biggs Williams of Brewton, AL; and his grandchildren, Amber Gatewood (Kelly) and Jacob Gatewood.
