It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Erica Phillips (Stapleton, Alabama), born in Grove Hill, Alabama, who passed away on April 26, 2019, at the age of 39, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her grandfathers, Willie Mays Phillips, Sr. and Willie Gray Beckham, Sr.; her uncle Willie Gray Beckham, Jr.; and her sister Devitia D. Phillips. She is survived by: her friend Maurice Taylor of Bay Minette, AL; her children, Tyler Taylor, Kyle Taylor, Trevor Taylor and Takyia Taylor of Bay Minette, AL; her mother Yvonne Bowe (Gerald); her sisters, Vanessa Phillips of Bay Minette, AL, Kayla Phillips of Nashville, TN and Marlisha Phillips of Nashville, TN; her grandmother Lallie Gray Beckham of Jackson, AL; her stepmother Truscilla Morris Phillips; and her stepsiblings, Stephanie Morris and Derrick Morris (Rebekah) of Nashville, TN. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, aunts, uncle, cousins, other relatives and friends.
