He was predeceased by: his wife Mazie "Sissy" Harville Jerkins; his brother Claude Jerkins; and his grandsons, Michael Curtis and Cole Curtis. He is survived by: his daughter Sylvia Diane Curtis (Roy) of Stapleton, AL; his brothers, Royce Jerkins of Stapleton, AL, Douglas Jerkins of Arizona, Robert Taylor Jerkins of Citronelle, AL and Donald Jerkins of Stapleton, AL; his grandchildren, Sergeant Cory Thomas Curtis (Kimberly) of Dayton, OH and Dana Danyeil Bryars (Lee) of Stapleton, AL; his great grandchildren, Christopher Holifield, Colby Holifield, Savannah Holifield, Cayden Middleton, Preston Bryars, Connor Bryars, Harley Curtis, Braun Curtis, Christian Rash, Chloe Shreve and Camden Shreve; and his great great grandchildren, Damon Holifield and Jenny Rash.
