She was predeceased by: her parents, Calvin Woodrow and Celia Head Cunningham. She is survived by: her husband Richard Irvin Gaines of Stapleton, AL; her children, Rebecca Ann Gaines of Stapleton, AL, Richard Preston Gaines (Christine) of Spanish Fort, AL and John Calvin Gaines of Stapleton, AL; her brothers, Roger Cunningham (Wanda) of Stapleton, AL and Mike Cunningham (Traci) of Stapleton, AL; and her grandchildren, Gabe, Eli, Ella Gaines and Sarah Jaye.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society or to Stapleton Methodist Church.
