He was predeceased by: his parents, Marvin McCracken and Leona McCracken (Holland); and his siblings, Willford McCracken, Earnest McCracken and Maxine Pitts.

He is survived by: his wife Evelyn McCracken (Carter); his children, Melissa Waldon (Brian), Marc McCracken (Kailia), Matt McCracken (Joy), Debby Pierce (Brian), Mike Green (Joni) and Chad Green (Tanya); and his sister Willodean Fikes. He is also survived by eighteen grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren.
