She was predeceased by: her husband Jimmy Gibson; her parents, Viola Jones and Horace Gregory; her children, Donnie, Dale Gibson, Janet, Tammy Gibson and Patsy Jones; her sister Velma Miller; her grandchildren, Ricky Knox and Sabrina Green; her great grandchild Ricky Ethan Knox; and her son-in-law Mike Ashton.
She is survived by: her daughters, Evelyn Ashton and Ruby Green (Melvin); and her grandchildren, Jennifer Green, Billy Cornelius, Patricia Nix, Jeremy Nix, Brandy Bates, Melvin Green (Ashley), Jimmy Knox, Michael Ashton, Timothy Ashton, Allison Gibson, AJ Gibson, Vannessa Gibson and Billie Stanford (Jeremy). She is also survived by great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
