We are sad to announce that on October 29, 2020, at the age of 82, Shellie Hester Sumerel of Spruce Pine, Alabama passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Emmons Hester and Elton Hester; and her brothers, Cranford Hester, Curtis Hester, James Hester and Bobby Hester.
She is survived by: her husband Leamon Sumerel; her daughters, Tilda Sumerel and Ginger Guinn (James); her grandchildren, Ashley Burchell (Adam), Braxton Guinn (Katie) and Casey Stewart (Trace); her great grandchildren, Luke Guinn, Sadie Kate Guinn, Adley Burchell, Ellynn Burchell, Liles Burchell, Brady Stewart and Annaliese Stewart; and her sister Dorothy Lanford. She is also survived by several nieces & nephews.
