She was predeceased by: her husband Hillman Herring; her parents, Aaron Berryman (Zit) and Lou Hatton Berryman; her daughter Vandelea; her brother Michael Berryman; and her sister-in-law Jan Sokolosky.
She is survived by: her children, Dona Herring Smith, Leta Herring (Marlon), Hillman Herring, Jr. (Rhonda), Clay Herring (Sherry), Christian Sherrod (Timmy) and Shace Herring; her grandchildren, Kendal Smith, Candice Priest (Fielding), Whitney Priest (Adam), Mason Garrett (Katelyn) and Hunter Garrett; her great grandchildren, Valerie Garrett, Mara Garrett, Charlie Link and Hillman Garrett; her brother Aaron Berryman, Jr. (Joyce); and her siblings-in-law, Earline Berryman, Billy Herring (Charlotte) and Carolyn Montgomery (James).
