He is survived by: his wife Yvonne Todd Sherrill; his sons, Mike Sherrill (Chris) and Alan Sherrill (Jan); his grandchildren, Melissa Avery (John), Todd Sherrill, Alana Swinney (Chris), David Sherrill (Holly) and Caleb Sherrill (Lexie); his stepgrandchildren, Brad Coan (Julie) and Leslie Dutton (Hank); his brother Stanley Sherrill (Annette); and his sisters-in-law, Martha Sherrill and Marilyn Sherrill. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
