With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Veda Mae Green McCarty (Springville, Alabama), who passed away on February 16, 2018. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband James D. McCarty, Sr.; her siblings, Ida Lou, Hershel Green, Sylvester Green and Bill Green; and her parents, Sylvester Green, Sr. and Cora Lesley Green.
She is survived by: her children, Debra Chamblee (Jimmy) and James Jr.; her grandchildren, Luther, Aaron, Eric Chamblee, Allison Cannon (Jared), Morgan Holcomb (Brandon) and Kyle McCarty; her great grandchildren, Evan Davis, Brooklyn Davis, Braxton Garcia, Elijah Chamblee, Silas Bryant, Helm Cannon, Marshall White and Ava Grace Holcomb; and also McCarty, Jr. (Marjorie).
