He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Layfield and Geneva Layfield. He is survived by: his son Michael "Andy" Layfield (Rachael); his siblings, Susan Rhodes (Curtis) and Daniel Layfield (Tammi); and his granddaughter Melody Layfield.
