With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Luther Thomas Tatum Jr. of Springville, Alabama, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 19, 2024 at the age of 84. He was predeceased by: his parents, Luther T. Tatum and Faye Tatum; his wife Shelba Tatum; his brother James Tatum; and his mother-in-law Flora Abel.
He is survived by: his sons, Larry Tatum (Leslie) and Kelly Tatum (Angela); his grandchildren, Tanner Tatum (Taylor), Noah Tatum, Lindsey Tatum and Lana Tatum; and his sister Joy Burleson. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to Deerfoot Church of Christ or to Colonel Robert L. Howard State Veterans Home in his memory.
