He was predeceased by: his wife Sharon; his parents, Joel H. Etheredge, III and Jane Shaw Etheredge; and his grandparents, Joel H. Etheredge, II and Thelma Clark Etheredge.
He is survived by: his daughters, Liz Simmons (Micah) and Katherine Ulfers (Brent); his grandchildren, Tucker and Sophie Simmons; his brothers, Bill (Judy) and Jim (Kay); his uncle Ronny (Ann); and his close friend Steel. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Monday, April 14th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home (1591 Gadsden Hwy, Birmingham, AL 35235). A graveside service was held on Monday, April 14th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the same location.
