He is survived by: his wife Julia L. Stirling; his children, James Stirling Jr. and Angela DuPre (David DuPre); his grandchildren, Tyler DuPre (Kelcy DuPre), Shelby Hudgins (Josh Hudgins) and Jaclyn Drake (Taylor Drake); his great grandchildren, Wyatt, Kase, Elsie, Leah, Ryker and Hallie; and his sister Margaret Tucker.
