He was predeceased by: his parents, Kendal Harold Brown and Louisa Olive Church; his brothers, William Young, Robert Young, George Brown and Richard "Dick" Brown; and his son Harold Kenneth Brown, Jr..
He is survived by: his son Auburn; his spouse Dee Brown of Springville, Ala; his children, Carolyn Brown of Biloxi, Mississippi, Danny Brown of Homewood, Ala, Patty Smith of Biloxi, Mississippi, Andrew Brown of Charleston and Michelle Wales; his son-in-law Kevin of Homewood, Ala; his grandchildren, Courtney Smith of Biloxi, Brandon Smith of Biloxi, Patrick Smith (Angela) of Biloxi, Victoria Brown of Charleston, Sarah Wales and Harris Wales of Homewood, Ala; and his great grandchildren, Olivia Wheeler and Charlotte Smith of Biloxi. He is also survived by many step-children, step-grand children, and step great-grand children.
Because of the rules and regulations of the Alabama National Cemetery regarding the limited number of flower arrangements, the family suggests donations to the Shriners Hospital for Children, https://www.shrinershospitalsforchildren.org , in lieu of flowers.
