He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Wright and Velma Ray Burns; and his brother James Carl Burns. He is survived by: his wife Bobbie Joyce Burns; his children, Mona Burns Aultman (Steve), Eddy Burns (Robin), Barry Burns (Kathy) and Nader Zandi (Belinda); his sister-in-law Shirley Burns; his grandchildren, Melissa O. Davidson (Neal), Michelle O. Stockman (Corey), Megan Burns, Brittany Burns, Jessica Burns and Christina Aultman; and his great grandchildren, James, Evey, Skylan, Mayson and Amari. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
