He is survived by: his brother Bryan Abernathy (Tracy) of Tyrone, Georgia; his niece Ryan Landrum (Anthony) of Cedartown Georgia; and his nephew Matthew Abernathy (Emily) of Piedmont. He is also survived by great niece and three great-nephews.
