We are sad to announce that on September 2, 2024, at the age of 85, Virginia Decossas in Spanish Fort, Alabama, born in New Orleans, Louisiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

While her presence may be gone, her impact lives on in the kindness shown to others and the joy found in the ordinary moments of life.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Peter LaCiura and Lena Lamonte LaCiura; and her siblings, Theresa LaCiura Revolta, Jeanette LaCiura Leblanc, Josephine LaCiura Kelly, Gertrude LaCiura Dubroc and Salvador LaCiura.
She is survived by: her husband Rene'Decossas; and her children, Ginger Decossas, Jill Decossas Tomberlin (Robert) and Eric Decossas (Pam). She is also survived by six grandchildren, five great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations in memory of Mrs. Decossas be made to your favorite charity.
