She was predeceased by: her parents, Milton Tira and Bama Carter Simmons; her brother Glen Edward Simmons; her son Norris Wayne Presley, Jr.; her grandsons, Milton Cole Presley and David Tira Presley; her great-nephew Wesley Kilcrease; her great-niece Tiffany Parker; and also Anna Grace Faith Stanley.
She is survived by: her husband Carl E. Thompson; her children, Rhonda White, Duane White and Michele White; her great grandchildren, Evan Carter Howell and Frank Boatwright, Jr.; and her sisters, Doris Elaine Simmons Moseley (Joe), Mary Alice Simmons Stallings and Patricia Charlene Simmons Enriquez. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren.
