He was predeceased by: his parents, Lillian Powell (Cannon) and Lewey Powell; and his siblings, Lynn Brady Powell and Lorene Dean. He is survived by: his daughter Charlotte Clevelle (Eric); his grandchildren, Savannah Cayanan (Daniel) of Jonathon Thomas, Erica Clevelle and Alexanderia Tapales (Meshack); his great grandchildren, Han, Ivy, Ian and Mia; and his siblings, Lowell Powell (Helen), Larry "Jack" Powell (Barbara), Linda Albea (Emmett), Lew Powell, Lester Powell (Edi), Loretta Bowman (Jim) and Lois Taylor (Andy). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was held on Monday, December 2nd 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Pine Rest Funeral Home (16541 US-98, Foley, AL 36535). A graveside service was held on Monday, December 2nd 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Alabama State Veterans Memorial Cemetery (34904 AL-225, Spanish Fort, AL 36527).
