He was predeceased by: his parents, Mack Leon Vereen and Edgeline Young; his daughter Jennifer Vereen; and his brother Ricky Vereen. He is survived by: his wife Donna Marie Vereen; his children, Josh Vereen, Savannah Vereen and Lacey Davis (Dusty); his stepsons, Keith Woltman and Robert Woltman (Michele); his grandchildren, Logan Woltman, Taylor Woltman, Jacob Woltman, Carter Davis, Sawyer Davis and Hudson Davis; and his sisters, Brenda Bullard (Steve) and Jackie Stanley.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations in Joseph's name to UAB Children's Hospital in Birmingham.
