He is survived by: his wife Kay Cox; his children, John Robert Carter (Joy), Donna Marie Coleman (Casey) and Joseph Hayes Cox; his grandchildren, Claire Marie, Jackson Coleman, Felicity, Jesslyn, Anneliece Gordon and Kayleigh Foster; and his sister Vanice Young.
