He was predeceased by: his parents, E. J. Dixon and Connie Dixon (Dumas); and his sister Emmie Clarke. He is survived by: his children, James W. Dixon, Jr. of Gulf Shores, Melissa Middleton of Mobile and Melanie Caldwell (Chris) of Daphne; his grandsons, Joshua Cooper of Fort Polk, LA, Dylan Caldwell and Jasper Caldwell; his great grandchild Paisley Cooper; and his sisters, Annette Griffin of Spanish Fort, Letha White of Mississippi and Sharon Cranford (Rutillis) of Millry. He is also survived by other loving relatives and friends.
