It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Emma Jean Dyess (Spanish Fort, Alabama), born in Brundidge, Alabama, who passed away on February 8, 2020, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Shiver and Pauline Shiver; and her husband Lonza Mayes Dyess. She is survived by: her daughter Janet Dyess Holley (Bob); her grandsons, Clint Holley (Brandie) and Kyle Holley; and her siblings, Irene Kelley and Ronnie Shiver.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorials be made to Cypress Shores Baptist Church, 4327 Higgins Road, Mobile, AL, 36619 or to the charity of one's choice in her memory.
