With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Billy Paul Wilkerson (Spanish Fort, Alabama), born in Benton, Illinois, who passed away on June 17, 2024 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Afton Cockrum and Bill RJ Wilkerson; the mother of his child Betty Hefner; and his niece Lisa Marie Carney. He is survived by: his wife Cheryl Wilkerson (Murphy); his son Ryan Matthew (Marla); his stepchildren, Christopher Edmond Walker and Lisa Diane (Randall Williams); his grandsons, Nate Williams and Trey Williams; his sister Faye Carney; his nieces, Brandy (Davy Gibbs) and Heather (James Brackin); and his great-niece Katlin Brackin.
