Beatrice Haas Walton Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Beatrice Haas Walton in Spanish Fort, Alabama, who passed away on June 30, 2021 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband William O. "Bill" Walton Jr. of Lafayette, AL; her parents, Marianne Haas and George Haas of Mobile, AL; her aunt Sarah Robinson (Severna Park, MD); her sister Nancy Haas Cowles of Fairhope, AL; and her brother-in-law J. Richard "Dick" Walton of Birmingham, AL.
She is survived by: her children, Marianne Walton Terry of Mobile, AL and William O. "Trip" Walton, III of Auburn, AL; her grandson Russell S. Terry Jr. M. D. (Tina O'Shea M. D.); her great grandchild Beatrice 'Bea Shea Terry of Gainesville, FL.; her sisters, Ellen Haas Cooper of Columbia, SC and Sara Haas of Phoenix, AZ; her sister-in-law Phyllis Phair Walton of Birmingham, AL.; her stepgrandchildren, Reilly, Coleman and Forrest Taylor of Montgomery; and her friend Ginger Mayson of Mobile. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
It was Bea's request that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Girl Scouts of Southern Alabama, the Boys and Girls Club of Lee County, the United Methodist Children's Home (North Alabama Conference) or the charity of choice.
