She was predeceased by: her parents, Lewis Frank and Madge Jines (McNeeley); her husband William McMurtrey; her close friend Karl "Mouse" Brandenburg; her son Carl McMurtrey; and her siblings, Bertha Parrish, Marjorie Marshall, Grace Ramey, Leila E. Mitchell, Michael, Marvin, Donald and Frank Jines.
She is survived by: her daughters, Carol Turner of Somerville, AL, Emmie Greene (Nathan) of Somerville, AL and Mary McMurtrey of Somerville, AL; her grandchildren, Adrian McMurtrey (Dymond) of North Vernon, Carmen McMurtrey of North Vernon, Kimberly Reynolds of Somerville, AL, Michael Reynolds (Cami) of North Vernon, Alexis Reynolds of Somerville, AL, Hunter Reynolds of Somerville, AL and CJ Reynolds (Becca) of Scottsburg; her great grandchildren, Bentley Roberts of Scottsburg, Kennedi Reynolds of Scottsburg and Carmariya Isbell of North Vernon; and her brother Larry Jines (Pam) of North Vernon.
