It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leona Burden (Somerville, Alabama), who passed away on July 29, 2024, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Albert Martin and Grace Clayton Martin; and her husband Ganes Burden. She is survived by: her daughter Judy Childers; her son-in-law Mickey Childers; her grandchildren, Jim Childers (Belinda), Julie Thomas (Wesley) and John Childers (Leigh Anna); and her great grandchildren, Brook Gibson (Zach), Michael Childers, Kayleigh Thrasher, Weslyn Thomas, Murphy Childers and Anna Leigh Childers.
