It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joel H. Gurley of Somerville, Alabama, who passed away on October 6, 2021, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Earl Gurley and Mable Inez Oden Gurley; and his sister Betty Earl Tarpley. He is survived by: his wife Dianna Gurley of Somerville, One; his children, Philip Gurley (Stacey) of Somerville, One and Marnie Meleca (Frank) of Seneca, SC.; and his grandchildren, Hali Gurley, Trace Bowden, Ivy Bowden and Joel Dallas Meleca.
