We are sad to announce that on September 7, 2023, at the age of 96, Helen Luker of Somerville, Alabama, born in Guntersville, Alabama passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Helen Luker to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Newton Jones and Virginia Walker Jones; her husband J. T. Luker; her daughter Betty Ruth Luker Yancey; and her grandson William Yancey.
She is survived by: her son Tommy Luker (Janice); her siblings, Paul Jones and Modeana Hardin; her grandchildren, Patrick Yancey (Renee), Grant Luker (Nickie) and Beverly Schonebaum (Barry); and her great grandchildren, Andrew Yancey, Abby Schonebaum, Anna Schonebaum, David Luker and John Luker.
In lieu of flowers, the family wishes for donations to be made to Hospice of the Valley or to Friendship Baptist Church in Somerville.
