She was predeceased by: her son Jamey Dean; her parents, Garnett Martin and Effie Martin (Smith); and her siblings, Sue Hodge and Tommy Martin.
She is survived by: her husband Jimmy Dean; her children, Tosha Dean Sutton and Richard Martin Dean of Decatur, AL; her grandchildren, Amanda Dean Hodges (Drake), Jacob Dean of Altoona, AL, Christian Wilhite of Snead, AL, Katelin Wilhite of Snead, AL and Addison Taylor of Snead, AL; her great grandchild Zachary Hodges; her sister Jane Plunkett (Bobby) of Arab, AL; and her niece Stephanie Gilchrist. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
