He was predeceased by: his father Max NeSmith; and his siblings, Gary NeSmith, Donna Sundberg and Patricia King. He is survived by: his wife Brenda NeSmith of McClarty; his children, Dr. Adam NeSmith (Meagan Scott) of Boaz, AL. and Amie Hart (Chris) of Snead, AL.; his grandchildren, Blakely Ray Hart and Brynlee Jo Hart; and his mother Willene NeSmith of Oneonta, AL..
