He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Crowder and Clara Seaton (Crosslin); and his siblings, Joe Thomas Seaton, Claudette Keith and Patsy Russell.

He is survived by: his wife Sherri Seaton; his children, Jerrod Seaton (Kara) and Alecia Amason (Daniel); his grandchildren, Kennedy Seaton, Ethan Amason and Eva Amason; and his brothers, John D. Seaton (Barbara) and James Robert Seaton (Ann).
