He is survived by: his children, Renae Gardner, Chuck Gardner and Rebecca King (Charles); his grandchildren, Reid King, Fendley King and Logan King; his siblings, Charlotte Gardner Massey (Herb), Morris C. Gardner (Linda), Barbara Gardner and Linda Gardner; and the mother of his children Linda Self Gardner. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
