He was predeceased by: his daughter Sherri Ann Laughlin Ashley; his parents, Elmo Laughlin and Golden Wright Laughlin; and his sister Elizabeth Laughlin Talley. He is survived by: his wife Mary Ann Jackson Laughlin; his grandsons, Chad Thompson and Brandon Thompson (Emily); his great grandchildren, Melanie Anne Thompson, Blake Edward Thompson and Ella Thompson; and his brother Roy Wayne Laughlin (Minnie).
