He is survived by: his wife Flonez Bryant Hutchens; his children, Carolyn Phillips (Todd), Brant Hutchens (Sherene), Patti McDerment (Len Kubik) and Keith Hutchens (Paige); his grandchildren, Brandon Phillips, Britney Phillips (Bryan Ayers), Reilly McDerment (DJ), Logan McDerment, Maegan Tatum (Jarad), Ethan McDerment, Autumn Hutchens, William Hutchens (Haley), Peyton McDerment, Jessi Hutchens, Luke Hutchens, Kaleb Hutchens and Cole Hutchens; his great grandchildren, Ember Champion, Jameson Ayers and Alastar McDerment; his siblings, Ralph Hutchens (Melba), Charles Hutchens (Kathy), Max Hutchens, Sarah Hutchens, Glenda Woods (Elton), Janice Woods and Kelly Lynn Hutchens; his sisters-in-law, Mary Hutchens, Linda Hutchens, Annie Ruth Hogland and Sue Wood; and his close friends, Charles and Shelia Ingram. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 19th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Lemley Funeral Chapel (6878 2nd Ave W, Oneonta, AL 35121). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 19th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
