She was predeceased by: her husband William Kenneth Gill; her daughters, Betty Ann Harrison and Patricia Clemons; her grandsons, William Vernon Gill and Douglas Bernard Turner; her parents, Wilburn Hawkins and Ethel Hawkins (Strickland); and her siblings, Bruce Hawkins, Hubert Hawkins, James Hawkins and Jean Stracener.
She is survived by: her children, Larry Gill (Martha), David Gill (Delane), Jimmy Gill (Anissa), Linda Turner (Thomas), Carolyn Gill Braggs and Cathy Gill; and her siblings, Jack Hawkins, Sue Evans (David), Helen Massey (Bill) and Sharon Dutton (Alan). She is also survived by 29 grandchildren; 55 great grandchildren; 23 great-great grandchildren.
