He was predeceased by: his parents, Martin Milner Alvis and Shirley Ruth Steele Alvis; and his wife Lisbeth Betty Alvis. He is survived by: his brother Larry Alvis; his nephews, Steve Alvis (Frances) of Kingsport, TN and Achim Kaese of Germany; his great-nephews, Casey Alvis and Steven Alvis; his pets, Cricket and Coco; and also, Laila and Amelia. He is also survived by brothers; numerous friends.
