He is survived by: his pet Romeo; his wife Sharon Carpenter; his children, Walt Carpenter (Gina), Grant Carpenter (Charity) and Rachel Hardy (Lance); his grandchildren, Abby Carpenter, Tre Carpenter, Avery Carpenter, Chase Carpenter, Zachary Carpenter, Chloe Carpenter, Olivia Carpenter, Nicholas Carpenter and Conrad Hardy; and his siblings, Rita Dones and Alan Carpenter. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
