We are sad to announce that on July 26, 2024, at the age of 66, Sherrie Darlene Martin of Smiths Station, Alabama, born in Columbus, Georgia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Alvin B. Martin and Edith "Joan" Bundrick Martin; and her niece Sydney Shea Harden Bamberg. She is survived by: her fiancé Jimmy Shelley of Smiths Station, AL; her children, Mollie Arnold (Dustin) of Pelham, AL and Rev. Zack Newman (Jessie) of Clarksville, Tennessee; her sisters, Janice Harden (Sid) of Salem, AL and Tammie Wilson (Roy) of Monroe, LA; her grandchildren, Noah, Alli, Eli, Silas, Adaline and Bennett; her close friend Amanda Richardson; and her pet Paisley. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, other loving family members and many caring friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family request contributions to the American Cancer Society or Gideon's International in memory of Sherrie Darlene Martin.
