He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Carl Garz and Ida Mortenson Garz; and his siblings, Catherine Carlson of Superior and Richard Garz of Houston, Texas.. He is survived by: his wife Doris Garz; his children, Keith Garz (Rebecca) of Baconton, Shirley Davis (David) of Phenix City, Kim Garz of Salem and Jason Garz (Tara) of Springfield, Virginia.; his grandchildren, Carla Evans (Will), Jennifer Garz (Marc) and Mia Garz; his great grandchildren, Jonathan Conner (Tearra), Jacob Evans, Keri Young and Nathain Young; and his great great grandchildren, Braxon and Brayden Conner.
Robert L.Garz died at home on January 28th after a long battle with Parkinson's disease.
