He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Moiser Dellinger and Rhea Gillespie Dellinger; his brothers, Carl Dellinger and James "Jim" Dellinger; and his granddaughter Kelley Underwood.
He is survived by: his wife LaFaye E. Cox Dellinger; his children, Jeffery "Jeff" Elliott (Donna) of Smiths Station, AL, Melissa Elliott Gauntt (Danny) of Smiths Station, AL and Lynne Morea (Dan) of New Hampshire; his sister Kathy Amos (Bill) of California; his grandchildren, Trevor Elliott (Amanda), Zachary Melton (Courtney), Josh Gauntt, Jason Gauntt (Jennifer), Olivia Morea and Ashley Payne (Willie); and his great grandchildren, Ezra, Eden, Ruth Faye Melton, Brayden Horton, Rylee Dunn, Peter Gauntt, Darcee Wright, Remington Gauntt, Lex and Jag Payne. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
