It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Peggy Thompson of Smiths Station, Alabama, born in Phenix City, Alabama, who passed away on March 4, 2021, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Sydney McDaniel, Sr. and Mildred Lucille McDaniel; and her siblings, John Sydney McDaniel, Jr., Betty and Charles McDaniel.
She is survived by: her husband Larry Thompson; her children, Kim Capps (Joe) and Kathy Bowman (Danny); her grandchildren, Joseph Capps (Laura), Mallory Bowman Harris, Kallan Bowman Berry (Kris) and Kelsey Bowman Farrington (Cary); and her brother Gary McDaniel (Dianne). She is also survived by many sister-in-laws, brother-in-laws and nieces and nephews.
