He is survived by: his wife Louise Culpepper of Smiths Station, Alabama; his children, Loveta Culpepper of Smiths Station, Alabama, Janet Culpepper of Smiths Station, Alabama, Dean Porter (Yukie) of Fort Walton Beach and Rickie Porter (Kathleen) of Fort Walton Beach, Florida; his grandchildren, Michael (Tara), Michelle, Stephanie, Sherry and Sean; and his great grandchildren, Kayla, Skyla, Sami, Noah, Eli Morris and Zoe. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
