She was predeceased by: her parents, James Homer Patterson and Euna Mae Hatchett Patterson; her daughter Linda Davidson; and her siblings, Grace Patterson Burch, June Patterson Nasworthy, William "Billy" Patterson and Carlton Patterson.
She is survived by: her husband Raymond Smith; her children, Norma Mixon (Henry) of Warm Springs, GA, Cheryl Culpepper (Eddie) of Opelika, AL and Marvin Smith (Mary) of Joelton, TN; her son-in-law Jerry Davidson, Sr.; her siblings, Dorothy Patterson Walton of Ft. Valley, GA and Eugene Patterson of Knoxville, GA; her sister-in-law Sandra Patterson of Byron, GA; and her grandchildren, Kathy Davidson, Jerry Davidson (Peggy), Kelly Drye, Vicki Atherton (David), Cindy Mixon, Mary Leverett (Mike), Melissa Hughes (Billy), Doug Mixon (Heidi), Jimmy Smith (Nikki), Maria Smith, Steve Hardin (Marie) and Carly Culpepper. She is also survived by nineteen great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews, extended family and friends.
