With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Linda Knox McCarty of Smiths Station, Alabama, born in Columbus, Georgia, who passed away on December 4, 2021 at the age of 72. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Knox and Mary Florence McKenzie Knox; and her brother Eugene Knox. She is survived by: her husband Bobby McCarty; her children, Shannon Tillery (Danny), Shane McCarty and Shea McCarty; and her siblings, Bobby Knox (Carolyn) and Pam Gouge (Mack). She is also survived by grandchildren, nephews and close friends.
