He was predeceased by: his parents, Durwood Paul Vann and Pauline Ariail Franke; and his daughter Holly Vann Remick. He is survived by: his wife Sally Buchanan Vann of Smiths Station, AL; his children, Kenneth Scott Vann Easton of Cumming, GA, Leslie Vann Lazrovitch (Phil) of Louisville, KY and Mary Catherine Bradford (Danny) of Simpsonville, S. C; his sisters, Elaine "Nicki" Gilbert of Dothan, AL and Susan Crenshaw (Lonnie) of Fortson, GA; his grandchildren, Sam Easton, Kenneth Mott, Kayla Remick, John-Michael Remick, Ariail Lazrovitch, Morgann Lazrovitch, Stephen Bradford (Kayla), Sarah Beth Tribble (Lucas) and Will Bradford; and his great grandchild Baker Bradford. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
