It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Karen Sue Barefoot of Smiths Station, Alabama, born in Monterey, California, who passed away on November 5, 2020, at the age of 63, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ivy Lee Henderson and Linnie Pauline Strange Henderson. She is survived by: her children, Shawn Barefoot (Brittany) of Smiths Station, AL and Candice Barefoot of Smiths Station, AL; her siblings, Jimmy Henderson (Dawn), Patricia Henderson Clark and Linda Griffith; her grandchildren, Brantley, Carter, Kingston Barefoot, Charles and Dale Sapp; and her friend Wayne Thomas. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and other close friends.
